Storage & Culinary Tips

Storage: Ideal temp storage temperature: 35°F. Remove greens before storage - even if you plan to use them. Store roots and greens separately, otherwise they will draw moisture away from one another and reduce storage.

Store carrots in a sealed plastic bag in your fridge, ideally in the crisper drawer. Without plastic carrots will dehydrate quickly. Storage life varies, but properly cared for roots can keep for months in the fridge.

Longest storage life comes with fall harvested carrots. If using the greens, use them within 7-10 days.​

Use greens as garnish in place of parsley.
